The Data Warehousing Institute Launches Northwest Chapter
SEATTLE, Sept. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Data Warehousing Institute (TDWI), the premier provider of in-depth, high-quality education and research in the business intelligence and data warehousing industry, announced today that it has launched a new Northwest Chapter to support Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana to meet the needs of business intelligence and data warehousing professionals on a local level. The NW Chapter will enable members to share best practices, challenges, career advice, as well as hear from industry leaders about issues and topics facing the industry today. The new chapter joins TDWI's lineup of chapter-hosting areas. "We're seeing a tremendous and growing interest in TDWI Chapters," said Wayne Eckerson, director of TDWI Research at The Data Warehousing Institute. "It has been exciting to see these communities form in such diverse locations." The new location brings the number of total TDWI Chapters to 22 on three continents; 13 Chapters are located within the United States and 9 are hosted internationally.
