Builder Announces Local Community Support Program

LEXINGTON, S.C., March 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Steve Baudo, President of Baudo & Associates Home Builders, Inc., a custom home building company located in Lexington, South Carolina, unveiled a community support plan called the B.E.S.T. Home Program(SM).

The B.E.S.T. (an acronym for Baudo Endowment to Support our Town) Home Program(SM) has very simple guidelines. This year, Baudo will invite seven groups or organizations in the Columbia, S.C. area to be recipients in the program. Each of the seven organizations will be assigned one sponsor home. When the sale of the sponsor home is closed, the recipient will receive a donation in the amount of $1.00 per heated square foot of the home sold. Since the homes that are built by Baudo typically range from 3,000 to over 5,000 heated square feet, each recipient can expect a donation of around $3,000.00 and more.

Baudo, a member of the Home Builders Association of Greater Columbia and with twenty-four years in the home building industry, specializes in mid to high-end custom homes in the Columbia, SC area. While some areas have been experiencing a slowdown in the housing market, Baudo & Associates Home Builders, Inc. is on track to more than double last year's sales revenue and profits. "Last year was a very good year for us. In the first three months of this year, however, we have already exceeded more than half the revenue we generated for all of fiscal 2007," said owner and President Steve Baudo. "In the economic climate that we are currently in, charitable organizations typically suffer from diminished donations and communities as a whole feel the effect of reduced tax revenue. Our continued success would not have been possible without the support of God and our community, and it is only right that we do something in return."
